Shipping
At hikingcamping.com, we generally ship orders twice a week. That means it could take a couple business days from the time you place your order until the time the package is actually on its way to you. Please keep that in mind when using the shipping-time estimates below to calculate when you can expect delivery.
Canada
From our head office in Canmore, Alberta, we ship most orders within Canada via Canpar Courier. In western Canada, delivery takes about three business days. In eastern Canada, delivery takes about four or five business days. Canpar delivers to your door, so within two days of placing your order with us, post a note telling the Canpar driver what to do with the package if you're not home to receive it. You can tell him to leave it at the door, put it on the back porch, give it to a specific neighbour...whatever you prefer. Otherwise – if you're not there when he arrives, and you have not left instructions – the driver will not leave the package. He will leave a notice stating he attempted delivery. In a couple days, he will attempt delivery again. After that, Canpar will ship the book back to us.
If your address is remote, or you live in an apartment, we will ship your order via Canada Post Expedited Mail. In western Canada, delivery takes about four business days. In eastern Canada, delivery takes about five or six business days.
United States
From our distribution office in Phoenix, Arizona, we ship all orders within the United States via U.S. Media Mail (surface mail via truck). In the western states, delivery takes about five business days. In the eastern states, delivery takes about six or seven business days.
Europe
From our distribution office in Phoenix, Arizona, we ship all orders to Europe via U.S. Priority Airmail. Delivery takes about seven to ten business days to most European cities.
Australia / New Zealand / Asia
From our distribution office in Phoenix, Arizona, we ship all orders to Pacific destinations via U.S. Priority Airmail. Delivery takes about seven to ten business days.
